Making a residual income

Did you ever have someone pitch an opportunity to you about considering an idea to generate a stream of income on a part time basis while you still worked a job to help make ends meet and to also dream of the possibilities? I'm sure in our everyday experiences we have at some point been approached and we were not sure and ultimately decided against it because either we were just not ready or just had our doubts about it.

In all honesty I have been approached maybe a half a dozen times and I have tried to get involved with the hope of realizing a dream and found myself not really sure because I had concern about approaching people I know to pitch the same opportunity that was pitched to me. I have come to regret that I had not followed through in the past because I do truly believe there are very successful people who are doing well. I realize they are usually the exception but now as I get older and realize we live in such uncertain times that it is probably more logical and sound to indeed consider the possibilities. I know there are some companies that are highly publicized in the network marketing arena and they are indeed very successful companies with independent business owners realizing their dreams. It seems in developing success as an independent business owner you need the support of your sponsor and his or her up-line and you need to take advantage of the resources made available to you and you also need to have faith, confidence, desire and a spirit and dream that will not die no matter how much pessimism comes your way. You also need to listen to the successful business owners.

Every meeting I have attended in the past I found the independent business owners involved to be sincere, dedicated, interested in teaching their success to others and highly motivated and committed and able to get past the negatives. It really serves no purpose to listen to the negative people because they will kill your dream possibly before you start in the business. My advice is if you really have a dream to achieve true financial success and freedom and you are approached by someone who is sincere and willing to teach you then you should go for it and never let the negatives destory that dream and desire.

The reality is we all need to make a living and work a job and that is so we can live and provide for our family and keep them protected and safe. Just think how we all wish we could do better and strive to achieve all we want out of life. We rely on luck and our abilities in carving a career and working a job and we hope we find security and a life long opportunity. The reality however of walking into a job for life is rare and highly unlikely. With the uncertain times we live in and with so many people out of work it is a real wake up call that we should really consider the opportunities pitched to us. I have learned the hard way after being let go and finding myself scrambling to find work again after working in a firm for almost 10 years and being let go just like that because of the tough economic times.

It comes down to timing and I have now again been pitched with an opportunity that is worthy of consideration and one that I have just started to do. I admit it is hard to focus on it completely right now but I believe it is in my best interest to adapt it into my life and listen to those who are successful with it and truly understand the potential. I have a sponsor who is great and I truly believe in him and respect him and his up-line. The one major barrier you have to overcome is the fear of approaching family and friends. To be successful you have to get used to rejection and also have to work on creating a list with as many contacts to speak to about the opportunity. This for so many is the deciding factor in them either continuing or giving up. If you wish to be successful in this type of opportunity you have to develop the list and get past the fear of making the effort. Timing, motivation, momentum and consistency are criticaI if you wish to succeed. I am excited and now will do all I have to do to make it successful because the best type of income to generate is residual income. I know the reality is that I have to put the time, effort, dedication and hard work into it and I have to learn to effectively communicate the opportunity and have defined the "why" as to my reason for doing this business. My "why" is very simple. I have been let go and am now trying to find an opportunity to work in a down market which scares me and makes me realize that we are not always guaranteed a job every waking day of our life to meet our obligations and that is very unsettling. My other "why" is I need to provide my son who is autistic a bright future and know that he will have a financial legacy if I can build this business and generate a residual income that will continue to grow and be independent of me having to work for it. Obviously I have to work to get to that level but once you establish it and build it to that level that income will be yours whether you sleep or spend your days with your family. It will be independent of you having to work for it and that truly is the best income you can have. This can provide you with the financial freedom that everyone wishes for and give you the opportunity to spend more time with your family which is what we all wish for in our life.

I make no false promises and I have not yet achieved this success myself but I believe now that there are people who have and they knew all along what kind of an opportunity pitched to them was all about and they committed themselves to it and now they are in such a better place and feel it is their motivation for teaching their success to others. For most of them the message is pretty much the same. They listened to the opportunity, they believed in it, they listened to others who did it and now they are doing it and they have never turned back. That is the key and that is what will inspire you to achieve the dream.

I have heard of the companies: Mary Kay Cosmetics, Amway Global, Pampered Chef and now Ambit Energy. There are so many others but these 4 are probably the ones that are most well known. I highly encourage people to consider the possibilities as I am now doing myself. It will be essential to still work your job but find the time to build your business dream because that is what can truly make your life a real dream come true if you dedicate yourself to it and you listen to the successful business owners who will teach you all they know so you can do it too.

It is in your best interest to believe in it and to dream your dream and never let the naysayers discourage you. Show them your success and let them dream too!

An update:

Since joining I have earned my first commission check from Ambit Energy after signing up 5 customers and I am looking forward to a long term relationship with the company. I am also looking to find interested individuals who wish to learn the business and work on building an independent business for themselves. It takes motivation, time and a vision. I am finding the individuals committed to this business very wonderful people who I truly wish to learn from. I am looking forward to attending their big gala in Texas in early September during the few days before the labor day holiday called Ambition and I am working on creating a real successful business relationship with this company. The sky's the limit with this pleasant opportunity. It is really a no brain-er for real! I am doing this for my son as his welfare is uppermost in my mind. He is my why for wanting financial success in this business!
